Overview
The client is a condensed milk producer needing automated end-of-line packaging for 450g round glass bottles. We supplied a complete line from case packing to palletizing, including a pick-and-place packer, auto slip sheet inserter, automatic case sealer, and a single-column joint palletizer. The line was custom-built to handle fragile glass bottles and the need for slip sheets, achieving both product protection and high throughput. It has been successfully delivered and is now in production.
Features & Quality
Pick-and-Place Packing: Bottles are gently loaded into cases using flexible grippers or vacuum, minimizing impact and label scuffing
Auto Slip Sheet Insertion: Slip sheets are automatically placed as required between layers or per case, accurately positioned without manual labor, preventing bottle-to-bottle contact during transport
Case Sealing: The automatic case sealer folds the top flaps and applies tape evenly for a secure, neat seal
Joint Palletizing: A single-column joint robot palletizer picks 4 cases at a time, building stable, uniform pallet loads with flexible motion
Integrated Line: Packing, slip sheet insertion, sealing, and palletizing are rhythm-matched for smooth, continuous production flow
Glass-Friendly Handling: Every transfer point is designed with the round glass bottle in mind — gentle guiding, proper cushioning, and minimized impact to reduce breakage risk
Custom Design
The entire line was tailored to the client’s actual 450g glass bottle dimensions, case size, and slip sheet requirements. The packer’s gripping method, slip sheet insertion timing, sealer’s lane width, and pallet pattern were all matched to the client’s products. The line layout was designed to fit the client’s existing plant space for quick installation and startup.
Client Feedback
The client reported high satisfaction with the line’s stability and product protection, especially the extremely low breakage rate for glass bottles throughout the packing and palletizing process. The line is now in regular production, and the video shows the actual running status.
